Unit Description
The Z-Duct Series 74 counter-flow heat exchangers are modular in design, to be field-erected to handle up to 1000 CFM at temperatures to 200°F. The heat-transfer matrix consists of formed and folded 8-mil thick aluminum with truncated dimples formed into the plates to effect plate spacing that can be varied separately for each flow stream. Variable plate spacing allows maximum performance for each application.
The ends are sealed with refractory cement, creating a heat exchanger with virtually no air leakage between air streams.
The Series 74 is a 1000 CFM median flow module, and the Series 84 is 2000 CFM.
The Series 74 and Series 84 heat-exchangers have high sensible efficiency, low maintenance, and low cost.
