Thermo-Pipe
Unit Description

Des Champs Technologies' Thermo-Pipe is a pipe-style heat-exchanger that provides sensible-heat-transfer between two air streams using a counterflow configuration, to maximize heat transfer and minimize pressure drop. 

Reduce heating and cooling requirements by using the exhaust air to precool or preheat the outdoor air!

Introduce more outdoor ventilation air without overloading the HVAC system!

The Thermo-Pipe contains rows of finned tubes partially filled with refrigerant and permanently sealed. Heating one side of the heat pipe establishes a continuous process within it whereby the warmer side acts as an evaporator and the colder side as a condenser. A sealed center-partition prevents cross contamination of the two airstreams.
