ASME "U" and "UM" Stamp - American Society of Mechanical Engineers - Coils meet the requirements of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code for Unfired Pressure Vessels under Section VIII/Division 1 of the Code.
ASME "N" and "NPT" Stamp - American Society of Mechanical Engineers - Coils are built in accordance with the requirements of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code for Nuclear Vessels and Appurtenances under Section III, Division 1 of the Code.
ASHRAE ARI-410 - American Refrigeration Institute - Coil thermal ratings consist of performance data corresponding to specified operating conditions. These are determined by extension of test data to operating conditions other than test and for different coil sizes and row depths of a particular coil line by the methods established in the Standard. Standard Ratings are application ratings which lie within the range of established conditions, and which are certified to ARI as accurate representations of test data.
UL 207 - Underwriter's Laboratories - These requirements cover non-electrical refrigerant-containing components and accessories, intended for field installation in accordance with the Safety Code for Mechanical Refrigeration, ANSI/ASHRAE 15, in refrigeration systems, air conditioning equipment, or both, charged with the refrigerants identified for use in the component or accessory. The requirements also apply to components or accessories intended for use by manufacturers in factory-assembled systems or units, in which case the component or accessory is also judged under the requirements for the individual system or unit.
CE (Conformité Européen) - The 18-member counties of the European Economic Area (EEA) consortium will require in May of 2002 that this self-declared marking be displayed on all regulated products and components that are to be sold in European markets. This will include pressure-containing vessels such as heat exchangers. SRC can design and manufacture special coils that meet these European Directives for Category I and apply the CE mark.
