Burgess-Manning patented hook-less double pocket vane currently being used in geothermal steam / vapor separation.
This vane has the highest moisture removal efficiency, lowest pressure drop and best reliability available. Burgess-Manning is very active and well known in the geothermal power generation market. Products designed and installed world-wide include:
Flash steam tanks

Steam separators or purifiers using Burgess-Manning patented hook-less double pocket vanes with efficiencies to 99.9% of all entrained moisture particulate.
Replacement vanes for installation in existing vessels of other manufacturers.
Vessels and vanes can be fabricated from most weldable alloys including Duplex Stainless steel, Hastelloy, Incoloy or any alloy specified. Removable vane sections as required for inspection, cleaning and replacement when necessary is also available. Burgess-Manning has many installations locally including the Salton Sea brine area with flows at 1,000,000 #/hr and pressures to 400 PSIG.
