Compressed Air Cooling

Moisture Separation & Filtration

Compressed air cooling is a critical process in many industrial applications where air compressors are used. The purpose of this process is to remove moisture from the compressed air. When air is compressed, it's able to hold less water vapor. As a result, some of the water vapor condenses into liquid form, which can cause several problems such as corrosion, freezing in exposed lines, and damage to pneumatic tools and equipment. Moisture separators, therefore, are an integral part of the compressed air drying process. They work by cooling the air, which causes the moisture to condense. This condensed water is then separated and removed from the air stream, ensuring that the air delivered to the end use is dry and free from damaging moisture.
