Gas Condensor

Heat Exchangers

Gas condenser heat exchangers are specialized types of heat exchangers used primarily in industrial facilities, chemical processes, and vapor recovery systems. Their primary function is to cool gases to a temperature where they condense into a liquid state, they heat can then be recovered and processed for use or safe disposal depending on the application. The design of a gas condenser heat exchanger often includes a series of tubes through which the gas flows. As the gas comes into contact with these cool surfaces, it loses heat and condenses. The condensed liquid is then collected and removed from the system. Materials used in the construction of these heat exchangers typically need to be resistant to the corrosive nature of certain gases, and able to withstand the thermal stresses involved in the condensation process.
